18K GOLD CLASSIC HUGGIE EARRINGS

Even though there was clear photos for the product and accurate size descriptions, I still managed to make the mistake of purchasing the smallest Huggies for my first lobes, which would probably look fine on anybody else, but personally makes me feel as though I look a bit like a pirate. The gold isn’t as shiny and looks a bit more bronzed than some of the other jewelry on this site (just a preference issue), but nonetheless it retains the same sturdy, water-proof, high quality workmanship I’ve come to expect from this brand. My favorite thing about the earrings have to be the latch mechanism, it’s easy to open and closes securely, allowing me to wear it all hours of the day, including at night tossing around in my sleep with no fear of it coming undone. Another thing to note would be the materials used in the earrings, as stainless steel 316L contains some amount of nickel, I don’t wear these earrings for an extended amount of time even though I can wear it in many environments, because I personally have a nickel allergy. However, this is stated on the website and if you do your research, is not a cause for concern for non-Earring jewelry, and mostly just if you are sensitive to nickel or fear developing a sensitivity in the future. Overall they are lovely little huggie earrings, just not completely hypoallergenic for me :)
