The Elsie necklace is designed with a built in adjuster so you can wear her as a choker or elongated to layer with your favorite necklaces. You may think this necklace is delicate and fragile but the materials used are built to last. The base is made of surgical grade stainless steel which is highly durable and waterproof. We use Ion plating to coat the 18K gold, which is the same technique used on high end watches and jewelry. The Elsie necklace and all of our jewelry is 100% waterproof and tarnish resistant. You can wear this necklace to the shower, beach, or pool worry free.
